January blew itself out, all bluster and rain. What a month! Most of it in preparation for events that will happen later on this year, but it did see the release of Dispossessed, the first in the new Thorndykes series. I was super-thrilled to have this book out, as it features two of my favourite things; cowboys and Regency rakes!
And as always, thank you for helping to make the book such a success!
I’m working hard on the edits for the book due out from Samhain in May. This one features my favourite historical period, the Georgian era together with the classics. It’s a world I’ve worked very hard to get right, and it’s an idea I’ve been developing for a long time. More closer to the date!
I’ve been shopping. Well, it’s January! It looks as if most of the clothes I’m bringing to RT Convention later in the year will be black, but that’s partly because I had some spectacular jewellery for Christmas, and I really want to show it off. I’m a sucker for jewellery, but ask me if I want a Shourouk original or a classic diamond on a slim gold chain, and watch me make a beeline for the Shourouk. I really appreciate good design and Shourouk has been making lots of noise in the design community, with good reason.
So what’s next?
I’m working on the next book in the Samhain series, and the next one in the Thorndyke series. Also, look for the release of the next Nightstar book soon. I know a lot of people are waiting for Zazz’s story, and he’s almost ready for his spotlight.
There is also some exciting news in the offing, but I’ll put a zip over my mouth until it’s all sorted. Shouldn’t be long now!
Keep checking my website for the books, and please, don’t hesitate to contact me if you want to know anything.
